Residence rooms are convenient, liveable, cozy personal spaces with all the essential furniture and equipment to keep you comfortable. They combine functionality and privacy, giving you a great place to study in an energizing environment that encourages mutual support.

The Buildings

Agathe-Lacerte Pavilion

The Agathe-Lacerte pavilion offers 484 single-occupancy rooms reserved for women during the school year, from September to April. The building is made up of 4 wings with 4 floors each, arranged around an inner courtyard.

Alphonse-Marie-Parent Pavilion

The Alphonse-Marie-Parent pavilion is a co-ed residence with 996 single-occupancy rooms reserved for students. It is made up of 5 buildings that have 10 unisex floors each, linked by common areas.

Ernest-Lemieux Pavilion

The Ernest-Lemieux pavilion is a co-ed residence with 436 rooms reserved for students. Of those, 431 are standard rooms and 5 are adapted for people with disabilities. Its 7 floors are co-ed and each has a gender-neutral bathroom.

H.-Biermans-L.-Moraud Pavilion

The H.-Biermans-L.-Moraud pavilion is a co-ed residence with 391 single-occupancy rooms reserved for students. The rooms are spread over 4 floors, most of them unisex.

Price includes basic furnishings. Bedding is not included but is available at extra charge.

Furnishings included

Room price includes the following furniture* and equipment:

  • Twin bed and mattress (bedding not included, available at extra charge)
  • Sink
  • Worktable, chair, armchair
  • Bookshelf, dresser, closet
  • Telephone with voice mail, lights, bulletin board

Washrooms and showers are located near rooms on every floor.

The following appliances may also be added:

  • Refrigerator
  • Microwave
  • Toaster
  • Coffeemaker

NO other cooking or reheating device or appliance may be used or kept in rooms. The shared kitchens in each residence are fully equipped.

Recommended refrigerators

If you buy a refrigerator, we recommend a 5-cubic-foot (20" x 33" x 21") Energy-Star qualified model with built-in freezer. Refrigerators up to 9 cubic feet and smaller freezers are permitted but not accepted for summer storage.

Appliance and equipment rentals

The following appliances and equipment may be used in your room:

  • Refrigerator
  • Microwave
  • TV
  • Safe
  • DVD player

Bedding service

A bedding service is available for full-time students residents in order to facilitate their arrival in residences. This is primarily a bedding rental for a one month period in order to help out newcomers, but it can end with a sale of the bedding kit to keep.

The bag contains the following items:

  • 2 bed sheets
  • 2 warm blankets
  • 1 pillow, 1 pillow protector et 1 pillow case
  • 1 bath towel et 2 washcloths
  • 1 bag
